Fieldguide, an agentic AI-native platform for audit and advisory firms, has raised a $75 million Series C round led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, with participation from new investor Geodesic and existing backers Bessemer Venture Partners, 8VC, and Thomson Reuters. The financing brings Fieldguide’s total funding to $125 Million and values the company at $700 Million.
The company is positioning the raise as fuel for scaling an execution model built for a profession facing mounting capacity constraints. Fieldguide points to rising regulatory complexity and increasing client expectations colliding with a shrinking supply of qualified professionals, citing a 17-year low in CPA exam candidates and projecting significant retirements among today’s CPAs over the next decade. Against that backdrop, Fieldguide argues the industry needs a new workflow foundation that pairs human judgment with agentic AI to increase throughput without sacrificing quality, compliance, or oversight.
Fieldguide’s platform is designed to embed AI agents directly into engagement execution across the lifecycle of audit or advisory work, targeting high-volume, repeatable, and data-intensive tasks. The company says this approach frees practitioners to spend more time on review, judgment, client relationships, and strategic advisory work, while maintaining governance and traceability suitable for regulated environments.
Fieldguide also emphasized adoption momentum, saying it is used by half of the Top 100 U.S. accounting firms, including members of the Big Four, and described its product as a core system for firms aiming to lead in the next phase of audit and advisory delivery. The announcement included customer commentary from KPMG and Anders CPA, highlighting the role of AI-driven execution in streamlining data collection, accelerating engagement workflows, and improving efficiency in financial audits.
With the new capital, Fieldguide plans to scale its proven model of agentic AI working alongside human experts to expand capacity, elevate quality, and support a more sustainable future for the audit and advisory profession.
