Fika Ventures, a Los Angeles-based early-stage B2B venture capital firm, has promoted Gabriella Brignardello to Partner, elevating an investor who the firm says has been central to its growth over the past five years.

Brignardello joined Fika as a Senior Associate when the firm was a five-person team and most recently served as a Principal. In her new role, she will continue leading investments across fintech and vertical AI, with a particular focus on opportunities tied to the built world. Fika said she has worked closely with founders across the firm’s portfolio, including Payabli, MaxHome, Clerq, SubBase, and Datum Source, which was acquired by Hadrian in 2024.

The firm described Brignardello as a key contributor not only to deal execution but also to operational work and internal development, citing her involvement in governance, collaboration, and founder partnership as well as her impact on team culture and talent development.

Before joining Fika, Brignardello held a venture role at WndrCo, a technology holding company, where she worked across sourcing, diligence, and portfolio operations. Earlier in her career, she was a strategy consultant at Parthenon-EY advising clients across industrials, technology, and consumer sectors.

Outside her investing work, Brignardello founded Mi Casa de Angeles, a nonprofit focused on improving access to quality education in underserved communities in Peru. She is also involved in initiatives supporting women in technology and finance, including mentoring with Synergist, participating in All Raise, and organizing a series of dinners for female fintech founders across major U.S. cities. She also helps lead LA Tech Day of Service, a quarterly volunteer initiative co-organized by Fika Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank to support local nonprofits.

Brignardello holds a BS in Symbolic Systems: Human Computer Interaction from Stanford University. Fika, founded in 2016, invests in pre-Series A software companies across verticals such as AI, fintech, commerce enablement, healthcare, and marketplaces, and said it has raised four funds and backed more than 90 B2B software companies.
