Final Boss Sour, a gaming-themed healthier snack alternative brand known for its bold, retro-gaming-inspired sour snacks, and built in studio by Science Inc., announced that it has raised $4 million in a Seed 2 funding round.

This funding round includes returning investors GFR Fund and Uncommon Denominator, with new participation from Melitas Ventures, DMG Ventures, Simple Food Ventures, and Air Ventures.

Known for a bold visual identity and real fruit-based recipes, the brand earned over 700 million organic views across popular platforms including TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

Final Boss Sour was created in Science Inc.’s studio, known for creating disruptive consumer brands including Dollar Shave Club and Liquid Death. And the brand emerged as a healthier, gaming-themed alternative to sour candies, using real fruit and no artificial ingredients. Through Science Inc.’s resources and expertise in consumer trends and influencer marketing, the team quickly brought Final Boss Sour to market, tapping into platforms such as TikTok and YouTube to drive growth​.
