Fingerprint Tops $50 Million ARR After Nearly 200% Revenue Growth As AI Fraud Defense Expands

Fingerprint has surpassed $50 million in annual recurring revenue as enterprise demand grows for device intelligence that can distinguish legitimate users from increasingly sophisticated automated and AI-driven fraud.

The company said revenue has grown nearly 200% during the past two years, while its customer base expanded approximately 93%.

Fingerprint is now used by more than 6,000 organizations across 56 countries. Its technology identifies more than 1 billion unique devices each month and processes over 80 million real-time API events per day.

The company estimates its customers use the platform to prevent more than $1 billion of fraud losses annually.

Fingerprint began as an open-source browser fingerprinting project before developing into a broader fraud prevention and device intelligence platform.

Its technology analyzes hundreds of device attributes along with more than 20 Smart Signals intended to help businesses recognize suspicious behavior and incorporate the resulting risk information into their existing fraud systems.

A major focus is now identifying automated activity created by AI agents and assistants.

Fingerprint launched Authorized AI Agent Detection in 2026 alongside AI Assistant Detection and its Automation Intelligence API.

Its authorized agent ecosystem includes OpenAI, AWS AgentCore, Browserbase, Manus and Anchor Browser. Fingerprint says the capability allows customers to identify verified agent traffic and distinguish permissioned automation from malicious bots and scrapers.

The broader challenge is becoming more important as generative and agentic AI make automated interactions more capable of imitating normal users.

Fingerprint argues that traditional single-point fraud checks are increasingly insufficient against automated credential stuffing, account takeovers and other attacks operating at machine scale.

The company’s next stage will focus on expanding its AI-oriented detection capabilities while continuing to provide real-time device intelligence to enterprise fraud teams.
