Finster AI: $15 Million Closed For Enhancing Financial Intelligence With AI-Driven Platform

By Amit Chowdhry • Oct 21, 2025

Finster AI, an AI-native platform designed for investment banks and asset managers, has raised $15 million in combined Series A and Seed funding to accelerate its mission of redefining the future of financial intelligence. FinTech Collective led the Series A round, while the Seed round was led by Peak XV, with continued participation from Hoxton Ventures.

The new capital will fund Finster AI’s expansion into New York, support the growth of its London headquarters, and enable the company to add senior leadership talent from top-tier financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley and Revolut. The financing will also advance the company’s partnerships across the broader financial ecosystem, focusing on data integration, technology collaboration, and workflow automation.

Founded in 2023 by Sid Jayakumar, a former AI researcher at Google DeepMind, Finster AI addresses the specialized needs of financial institutions that handle Material Nonpublic Information (MNPI) and require stringent governance, real-time accuracy, and zero tolerance for AI hallucinations. The platform is built to support financial workflows by integrating secure and verifiable AI solutions tailored to the nuanced demands of investment and asset management professionals.

Finster AI’s early success includes partnerships with tier 1 global investment banks and asset managers, validating its approach to combining AI innovation with domain-specific expertise. The platform is engineered to assist professionals with drafting investment memos, conducting market research, assembling client materials, and managing data all while ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

To strengthen its leadership team, Finster AI has appointed several seasoned executives from the intersection of finance and technology. Chris Andrews, formerly Global COO of Research at Morgan Stanley, joins as Chief Operating Officer, bringing nearly two decades of experience in trading, technology, and research transformation. Veeral Manek, previously General Manager of Revolut’s Wealth & Trading division, will take a leading product role.
