Fireye is part of Spectrum Safety Solutions, based in Stamford, Connecticut. Founded in 1983, ETC has built a global reputation for designing and manufacturing innovative electronic burner controls that help industrial customers cut energy costs and emissions.
The acquisition aligns with Fireye’s strategy to differentiate itself by offering a broad portfolio of industry-leading burner controls and flame monitoring solutions. By adding ETC’s advanced combustion control products, Fireye expands its offerings to include solutions for managing multiple boilers, improving efficiency through air-fuel ratio control, and enhancing diagnostics via Bluetooth™ technology-enabled products.
Fireye said the combination strengthens its position across commercial and industrial markets, where its flame safeguard controls and burner management systems are widely used in public buildings, commercial properties, power plants, pulp and paper mills, petrochemical facilities, and food processing plants. The expanded portfolio is expected to provide customers globally with a more comprehensive suite of burner control and combustion management technologies.
