Firm Prospects announced a strategic partnership with UniCourt to significantly expand the depth of attorney and law firm intelligence available on the Firm Prospects platform.
The integration combines Firm Prospects’ lawyer-vetted talent intelligence with UniCourt’s litigation data and analytics platform. Firm Prospects clients will gain access to litigation data from more than 2 billion dockets and documents across 4,000 state and federal courts.
Firm Prospects said the partnership will support stronger talent decisions by law firms, legal search firms, and business development and competitive intelligence teams. The company’s platform provides intelligence on law firms, attorneys, market hiring trends, and lateral movement.
By integrating UniCourt’s litigation data, Firm Prospects said it can deliver attorney and law firm profiles that are significantly deeper, with hundreds of thousands of new case connections and co-counsel and opposing counsel relationships across the U.S. legal market.
The enhanced profiles will include full case histories, the side represented in matters, co-counsel connections, opposing counsel connections, and more detailed partner-level profiles. Firm Prospects said the integration is especially useful for lateral partner recruiting, allowing firms to evaluate a candidate’s litigation history and identify internal attorneys who have worked alongside or across the table from potential candidates.
The combined data is designed to help law firms evaluate lateral candidates more quickly, help legal search firms assess candidates with greater confidence, and help business development and competitive intelligence teams map relationships, track opposing counsel patterns, and better understand the market landscape.
This is the first phase of a broader data partnership between Firm Prospects and UniCourt, with a growing database targeting more than 2 million cases and additional court coverage being added on an ongoing basis. The enhanced attorney profiles are available now to Firm Prospects clients.
