First Legal has acquired AAA Attorney Service, a New York process serving and court filing business that has supported law firms and corporate legal departments for more than 80 years. AAA joins First Legal immediately, extending the litigation support provider’s presence in one of the country’s largest legal markets.
AAA brings established capabilities in process serving and court filing and has been operated by Harvey, Jay, and Howard Tauber with a hands-on approach centered on direct relationships with attorneys and legal departments. First Legal said that operating culture and service model align closely with its own approach to litigation support.
The acquisition adds to a series of transactions aimed at deepening First Legal’s presence in New York and broadening the range of services it can provide to clients. Earlier in 2026, First Legal acquired Bee Reporting, a New York court reporting firm, and eFileMadeEasy, a court eFiling platform. In 2025, the company acquired Inter County Judicial Services, another New York-area provider of process serving and litigation support services.
First Legal’s broader platform covers filings, service of process, court reporting, trial support, records, eDiscovery, digital production, and licensed investigations. The company has operated for more than 35 years and works with law firms, corporate legal departments, and insurance carriers across the country.
By bringing AAA into that platform, First Legal can pair the acquired firm’s longstanding client relationships and local knowledge with a larger national operating base. The company is positioning the combination as a way to add resources without disrupting the service standards and personal attention that have defined AAA’s business for generations.
