Fisica Wins U.S. Space Force DARC Contract For Advanced Radar Systems

Fisica was awarded a contract to support the U.S. Space Force’s Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability program, expanding its role in developing space domain awareness infrastructure.

The DARC program is developing a global network of advanced ground-based radar sensors to improve the U.S. and allied nations’ ability to detect and track activity in deep space.

Fisica won the latest contract through a competitive bidding process.

The award follows the company’s work supporting the first DARC installation in Australia.

Construction at that site was completed about a year after the trilateral program’s first phase launched.

The DARC program is now advancing to its second site in the United Kingdom.

Fisica’s work will include designing, assembling, testing, and installing advanced radar antenna systems.

The company said its performance on the Australian site helped reduce implementation risk and positioned it for the program’s next stage.

Fisica provides aerospace and defense communications, radar, antenna, and sensing systems for mission-critical applications.

The latest award further expands the company’s work supporting U.S. and allied defense operations.
