Five Below reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 net sales of $1.26 billion, increasing 22.9% from $1.03 billion in the prior-year quarter.
Comparable sales increased 14.1%, while the retailer opened 52 net new stores and ended the quarter with 2,022 stores across 46 states, representing year-over-year unit growth of 8.8%.
Operating income increased to $275.4 million from $52.4 million, while adjusted operating income increased to $113.2 million from $55.1 million.
Net income increased to $221.4 million from $42.8 million. GAAP diluted EPS reached $3.99, compared with $0.77 a year earlier, while adjusted diluted EPS increased to $1.68 from $0.81.
For the first half of fiscal 2026, Five Below opened 101 net new stores and generated $2.55 billion in sales.
The company raised its fiscal 2026 outlook and now expects net sales of $5.63 billion to $5.71 billion, compared with previous guidance of $5.40 billion to $5.48 billion.
Comparable sales are now expected to increase 10% to 12%, up from the previous 6% to 8% forecast.
Adjusted diluted EPS is expected to reach $9.83 to $10.31, up from the previous outlook of $8.65 to $9.05. Five Below continues to expect approximately 150 net new stores during the year.
