FLÆ Robotics raised more than €1 million in seed funding to accelerate development and international expansion of BE-A, its AI hospitality agent for hotels. The round was backed by Purple Ventures and Garage Angels.
Founded in 2023 by Filip Linek, the Czech technology company has already deployed BE-A across more than 60 hotels in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
FLÆ Robotics plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development, deepen integrations with hotel technology systems, expand its team, and enter additional international markets.
The company is strengthening its presence in Germany, expanding into Austria, building on its recently established U.K. operations, and preparing to enter the U.S. hotel market.
BE-A is designed to automate routine hotel guest communications, reservations, and related front-office activities around the clock.
The platform communicates with guests through WhatsApp, email, web chat, and phone calls and supports more than 100 languages.
Through integrations with hotel systems, BE-A can help guests check room availability, make reservations, obtain information about hotel services, and handle other common requests.
The platform also categorizes incoming communications and routes requests to the appropriate hotel team or operational workflow.
FLÆ Robotics designed the technology to reduce the amount of time hotel employees spend handling repetitive administrative requests, allowing staff to focus more attention on guests at the property and situations that require human experience or judgment.
Hotels using BE-A include Weetwood Hall Hotel and Hotel Atlantis near Brno.
FLÆ Robotics said BE-A handled approximately 265,000 messages and voice interactions across nearly 160,000 conversations during July and August 2026.
That represented an average of more than 4,000 interactions per day.
During the same two-month period, BE-A completed more than 3,400 hotel bookings without human intervention, demonstrating the company’s effort to move the platform beyond conversational assistance and into the execution of operational tasks.
The company’s longer-term goal is to develop BE-A into an AI receptionist that connects guest communication directly with reservations and hotel operations.
The new financing will allow FLÆ Robotics to expand those capabilities while creating deeper connections between BE-A and the software platforms hotels already use to operate their businesses.
The company also plans to grow its organization as it expands geographically and supports a larger number of hotel customers.
KEY QUOTES:
“Hotel teams handle a large volume of repetitive enquiries and tasks every day across email, phone and other channels. We are developing BE-A to go beyond answering questions and carry out the next step within hotel systems. This gives staff more time for guests and situations that need their experience and judgement.
This investment will help us expand BE-A’s capabilities, deepen our integrations and support more hotels in international markets.”
Filip Linek, Founder and CEO of FLÆ Robotics
“We invested in FLÆ Robotics because BE-A is already solving a very real problem for hotels and proving its value in day-to-day operations. The team combines strong hospitality experience with a clear product vision and international ambition. We believe there is significant potential to scale BE-A across European and global hotel markets.”
Jan Davídek, General Partner at Purple Ventures
“BE-A has become a major support for our team. We also value the natural and polite tone of its communication, which helps us maintain a consistent standard when communicating with guests.”
Iva Šrotířová, Process & Finance Manager at Hotel Atlantis
