Flatkey Raises $10 Million Series A After Surpassing 10,000 Developers

Flatkey and Realset AI have raised $10 million in Series A funding as Flatkey scales its AI infrastructure platform, which surpassed 10,000 developers within two months of launch.

Flatkey launched in July 2026 and provides developers with access to more than 100 official AI models and more than 1,000 tools through a single API key and balance.

The company plans to use the financing to add more models and tools and expand the infrastructure that routes developer traffic.

Flatkey supports official models from companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and DeepSeek, along with image and video models.

The platform also provides access to tools spanning search, browsing, data enrichment, media generation, and other functions without requiring developers to set up separate billing relationships with each provider.

Flatkey said it routes calls to providers’ official endpoints rather than self-hosted or modified model versions.

Because the company buys upstream capacity in volume, Flatkey said it offers many models at about 80% of providers’ official list prices, with some available at 60% or less during promotions.

Subscription plans begin at $10 per month, with pay-as-you-go credits available for both models and tools.

Flatkey is also designed as a drop-in replacement for OpenAI-compatible clients, allowing developers to migrate by changing the base URL.

KEY QUOTE:

“AI development is becoming less about choosing one model and more about combining models, data and tools across text, image, audio and video. If developers can reach all of that through one key, the platform stops being a convenience layer and starts to look like infrastructure. That is the company we are building.”
