Illinois-Based Flexera Software Approaches $400 Million In Revenue

Flexera Software, an Illinois-based company that helps application developers and enterprises increase usage and the value they derive from their software, announced a number of milestones recently. This includes record-breaking growth of nearly $400 million in revenue.

This past year, Flexera also announced three strategic acquisitions including RightScale (category leader in enterprise cloud management), Meta SaaS (SaaS spend management company), and Brainwaregroup (software asset management solutions company). Flexera also hired 179 employees in 2019 and now has 1,300 employees around the world. Some of the key management hires include chief revenue officer Ryan Kubacki (former chief growth officer at Vista Consulting Group) and SVP of marketing Laura Luckman Kelber (former Sandstorm Media chief strategy officer).

The company also received recognition during the year including Gartner naming Flexera as a leading cloud solution. Flexera was named IoT Enablement Company of the Year by IoT Breakthrough. Flexera received an IoT Global award for its monetization platform — which is used by companies around the world to implement their digital business models. And Flexera was named a 2018 Top Workplace by the Chicago Tribune for the seventh consecutive year.

Flexera’s flagship product is called InstallShield, which has been an industry standard for Windows installation and it has been used across industries worldwide for more than 30 years And Flexera’s Software and IoT Monetization platform is used by companies around the world for implementing digital business models. Currently, Flexera has more than 51,000 clients.
