Flock AI: $6 Million Seed Funding Closed To Scale One-to-One Visual Commerce For Fashion and Retail

Flock AI, an AI-native visual commerce platform built for fashion and retail, has raised a $6 million seed round led by Work-Bench, bringing total funding to $7.5 million. The round also included participation from January Ventures, Red Bike Capital, Outlander VC, AI Furnace, and strategic angels.

The company is positioning the raise around a broader shift in e-commerce, arguing that performance now depends on personalized, high-quality visual content delivered at scale, a requirement it says traditional photoshoots and first-generation AI tools were not built to meet.

Flock describes its platform as a creative co-pilot designed to fit into existing creative and merchandising workflows, generating brand-accurate product imagery across customers and channels without additional headcount or budget. The company says it trains custom models using reinforcement learning, with a system designed to capture a brand’s visual identity across 200+ visual attributes and to improve output over time through creative feedback and conversion data.

Flock also frames its approach as enabling more representative imagery across body types, skin tones, and ages. It claims brands using the platform have reported up to 90% cost savings compared with traditional photoshoots and a 30%+ lift in conversion rates from more varied, representative imagery.

The company was founded by Manvitha Mallela, who previously led merchandising and creative operations at Bloomingdale’s and Jet.com/Walmart, and Malavika Reddy, who has more than a decade of experience in AI and computer vision, building and scaling machine learning systems. Flock said the new funding will be used to accelerate product development and go-to-market efforts as enterprise demand grows.
