Flok Health Raises $12.5 Million Series A To Scale Autonomous AI Healthcare Delivery Platform

Flok Health has announced a $12.5 million Series A funding round led by AlbionVC, with participation from Mercia Ventures and existing backers Eka Ventures and Form Ventures. The UK-based company has built what it describes as the first and only AI platform in Europe approved for fully autonomous end-to-end healthcare delivery direct to patients, addressing what it calls the biggest problem in healthcare: a supply-demand mismatch between the volume of care needed and the availability of clinical labor to deliver it.

Flok Health was co-founded by Finn Stevenson and Ric da Silva around the premise that billions of people suffer unnecessarily from conditions medicine knows how to treat, but where traditional care delivery cannot scale to meet demand. By deploying an AI platform capable of autonomous end-to-end clinical delivery, the company said it can decouple the availability of labor from the volume and quality of care delivered — a fundamental shift in how healthcare capacity is defined and expanded. The platform has already demonstrated results across NHS partnerships, with the company working alongside NHS partners to build and deliver what it describes as an entirely new model of healthcare.

The Series A capital will support rapid scaling of existing services while enabling expansion into new clinical domains and markets. The raise comes at a moment of significant momentum for AI-enabled healthcare delivery in the UK, where the NHS has been actively seeking technology partnerships to address persistent capacity constraints. Flok Health said the backing from AlbionVC, Mercia Ventures, and its existing investors reflects strong conviction in both the clinical results achieved to date and the scale of the opportunity ahead.

KEY QUOTE:

“Ric and I started Flok Health to solve the biggest problem in healthcare: supply-demand mismatch. Billions of people today suffer unnecessarily from conditions we know how to treat, but where traditional delivery cannot scale to meet demand. Our AI platform is the first and only system in Europe to be approved for fully autonomous end-to-end healthcare delivery direct to patients — which finally allows us to decouple the availability of labour from the volume and quality of care. We’re seeing incredible results across the NHS already, and we’re just getting started.”
