Flow Service Partners has acquired Altman Air Conditioning, expanding its commercial HVAC and mechanical services platform across South Florida.
Flow is backed by middle-market private equity firm Quad-C Management and has been building a multi-region HVACR and plumbing services platform through partnerships with established local operators.
Altman was founded in 1985 and brings more than four decades of experience providing commercial HVAC and mechanical services to South Florida customers.
The business provides commercial air conditioning, mechanical services, equipment replacement, repairs and ongoing maintenance.
Altman will complement Cortez, another Flow Service Partners company already serving commercial customers across Florida.
The combination is intended to increase the services, technical expertise and resources Flow can provide to customers while increasing the density of its Florida operations.
Altman will continue operating under its existing brand and maintain the local team and customer relationships that have supported its growth.
At the same time, the business will gain access to Flow’s broader technology, capital, operational resources and shared best practices.
That structure reflects Flow’s broader acquisition model, which is designed to preserve the identity and culture of acquired local service businesses while providing infrastructure to support expansion.
Quad-C invested in Flow in November 2024.
The private equity firm has invested approximately $5.3 billion across 92 platform companies and completed more than 425 add-on acquisitions during its history.
