Flyntlok: $36 Million Raised For Advancing AI-Driven Innovation For Heavy Equipment Dealers

Flyntlok, a provider of cloud-based dealer management software for heavy equipment and related industries, has secured a $36 million growth investment from Mainsail Partners. The funding will be used to expand Flyntlok’s artificial intelligence capabilities, enhance product innovation, and scale customer support programs aimed at helping equipment dealers optimize operations and unlock new revenue opportunities.

With support from Mainsail AI Labs, Flyntlok plans to roll out advanced AI-powered tools that will help dealers manage increasingly complex datasets—from millions of part numbers to fluctuating pricing and inventory structures—more efficiently. The company also intends to strengthen its customer success initiatives, maintaining the high-touch support that has been central to its brand reputation.

Flyntlok’s platform was designed specifically for equipment dealers, including those in heavy machinery, truck, and outdoor power equipment segments. Initially developed by founder and CEO Sean McLaughlin for his own dealership, Craig Taylor Equipment, the system was credited with helping grow the business from $20 million to over $105 million in 11 years.

Flyntlok now serves dealers across hundreds of locations, providing an integrated system that streamlines key business functions such as point-of-sale, service orders, rentals, logistics, and inventory management. The platform also connects in real time with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage Intacct, enabling seamless financial reporting and operational transparency.

Flyntlok will showcase its next-generation AI features at the Equip Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, from October 21–24. Demonstrations will highlight how dealers can leverage AI to identify sales opportunities through the Flyntlok CRM, automate repetitive tasks, and improve profitability through more intelligent data utilization.
