Focus Acquires GuideIT To Accelerate Growth And Expand Client Capabilities

GuideIT, a managed technology services company, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Focus, a healthcare-focused technology services company. Following the closing of the transaction, GuideIT will operate as GuideIT, A Focus Company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

GuideIT, headquartered in Plano, Texas, serves clients across healthcare and other industries with capabilities spanning managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud integration, IT and clinical service desk support, and medical data services. The company said its leadership pursued the partnership deliberately, selecting Focus as the organization best positioned to expand its offerings while preserving its existing culture and client relationships. Focus positions itself as a unified technology partner for healthcare practices, combining IT, security, and data services under a single point of accountability, with experience across more than 100 electronic health record and practice management systems.

Following the close, GuideIT said clients will experience no disruption to service, with the same teams continuing to operate under existing contracts and service standards. Martin Wolf advised on the transaction.
