Foley Adds Dustin Greene From Kilpatrick Townsend To Expand Raleigh Commercial Litigation Practice

Foley & Lardner has added Dustin Greene as a Partner in its Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Raleigh, strengthening the firm’s North Carolina litigation capabilities as it continues investing in the regional market.

Greene joins Foley from Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton and brings trial and appellate experience spanning complex commercial disputes, securities matters, construction, real estate and land use litigation.

His practice also includes employment disputes, fiduciary duty claims, trade secrets, restrictive covenants and Native American land and governance issues. Greene represents both plaintiffs and defendants and advises clients throughout the dispute lifecycle, from pre-suit strategy and dispositive motions through trial, appeals and arbitration.

Foley is positioning the lateral hire as part of a broader expansion of its Raleigh office.

The firm recently announced that the office will relocate into expanded Midtown space early next year, providing additional capacity for continued growth.

Chairman and CEO Daljit Doogal said Greene’s trial experience and commercial litigation practice add capabilities that will benefit clients across North Carolina.

Greene also has longstanding relationships within the state’s legal and business communities, which the firm expects to support expansion of its regional client base.

Foley operates approximately 27 offices worldwide with around 1,100 lawyers. Its broader platform spans sectors including energy and infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences, innovative technology and manufacturing.

For Greene, the move provides access to a larger national litigation platform and cross-disciplinary capabilities while allowing him to continue building a North Carolina-focused practice.
