Foley & Lardner Adds Partners Marisa White And Rena Andoh In New York

Foley & Lardner has added partners Marisa White and Rena Andoh to its New York office, expanding the firm’s capabilities across private capital, mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation, and trade secret disputes.

White joins Foley’s Transactions Practice Group, while Andoh joins the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Their arrivals continue the firm’s broader expansion in New York, where Foley has added 10 lateral attorneys during 2026.

White joins from Baker Botts and advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors, and portfolio companies on domestic and cross-border transactions. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, and other strategic investments.

She represents clients across sectors including private capital, technology, health care, life sciences, and aerospace and defense. Foley said White’s experience adds further depth to the firm’s middle-market M&A and private equity capabilities.

Andoh joins Foley from Benesch and represents clients in complex commercial and trade secret disputes in state and federal courts as well as domestic and international arbitration proceedings.

Her litigation experience includes first-chair trial work involving intellectual property, restrictive covenants, employment matters, and other business disputes. Andoh also advises clients on internal investigations and government investigations.

Her client base spans technology, health care, financial services, energy, and government contracting.

The additions follow the recent arrival of transactions partner Heather Miles and are part of Foley’s continued investment in growing its New York platform across transactional and litigation practices.

Foley & Lardner has approximately 1,100 lawyers across 27 offices globally. The firm focuses on industries including energy and infrastructure, health care and life sciences, innovative technology, and manufacturing.

The firm said the additions of White and Andoh strengthen its ability to serve clients on both complex transactions and high-stakes disputes while expanding the depth of its New York team.
