Foley & Lardner has expanded its tax capabilities by adding David Morris as a partner in its Salt Lake City office. Previously with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Morris advised private equity sponsors and corporate clients on various complex transactional tax matters, bringing over a decade of experience in domestic and cross-border tax issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
Morris also counsels investment funds and emerging growth businesses on transaction-specific matters and tax planning across industries like software, financial services, energy, and manufacturing.
Since its opening in 2021, Foley’s Salt Lake City office has grown to 33 attorneys, providing comprehensive legal counsel in corporate law, intellectual property, and litigation.
