Fora Raises $60 Million Series D At $1 Billion Valuation As Travel Bookings Cross $3 Billion

Fora, a New York-based platform for independent travel advisors, has closed a $60 million Series D at a $1 billion post-money valuation. The round was led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, with continued participation from Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, and Heartcore Capital. New investors include PLUS Capital — alongside Amy Schumer and members of its artist and athlete collective — BlackPines Capital Partners, and Tribeca Venture Partners. The financing brings Fora’s total funding to $138.5 million.

Founded in 2021, Fora provides technology, training, community, and booking infrastructure to a network of more than 15,000 active travel advisors, the vast majority of whom are new to the profession. Its advisor base includes former physicians, attorneys, traders, full-time parents, and retirees who use the platform to run travel businesses ranging from part-time supplemental income to more than $10 million in annual bookings. Fora advisors have collectively booked more than $3 billion in travel across 180-plus countries since the company’s launch — a pace that has accelerated sharply, with the third billion reached in just five months after the second took eight months and the first took three years.

The Series D is timed around the beta rollout of Via, Fora’s embedded AI assistant currently available to a select group of top advisors. Via is designed to reduce administrative overhead across the advisor workflow — handling destination research, supplier knowledge, client itinerary drafting, and proposal generation — so that advisors can concentrate on relationship-building, judgment, and personalization: the elements of travel planning that remain difficult to automate. Fora’s stated bet is that AI augments the value of human travel advisors rather than replacing them.

The broader market context supports that thesis. LinkedIn ranked travel advisor as the fifth-fastest-growing job in the United States in 2025. Fora will use the new capital to deepen AI capabilities through Via, expand into new markets, grow its presence in cruise, flights, and enterprise travel, and continue hiring.

KEY QUOTES:

“Fora’s mission has always been to give advisors the infrastructure they need to build real businesses. In the age of AI, the ceiling on what’s possible for this profession is only getting higher, and the things that are hardest to replicate — human expertise, relationships, taste — matter even more. With AI increasingly handling the operational layer, we’re already seeing advisors building bigger, more meaningful businesses — faster.”

Evan Frank, Co-Founder, Fora

“Fora has more revenue than all AI travel companies, combined. Fora is bigger in AI travel because their offering combines automation when you want it with human accountability when you need it to provide a seamless traveler experience.”
