Foresight, an AI-powered project delivery platform focused on large-scale infrastructure, has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round to expand its product and scale globally as demand grows across sectors such as AI infrastructure, energy, defense, and advanced manufacturing.
The round was led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from Creandum, ISAI Build, i2bf Global Ventures, and Somersault Ventures.
The company is positioning itself to address what it describes as a growing “execution gap” in global infrastructure development, where massive capital investments are increasingly constrained by delays, cost overruns, and operational inefficiencies. According to the announcement, nearly 90 percent of large-scale infrastructure projects are delivered late or over budget, with compounding execution failures and planning biases cited as key drivers.
Foresight’s platform aims to tackle this challenge through predictive analytics and real-time monitoring, replacing traditional static schedules with a continuously updated control system. The platform integrates execution data across stakeholders, validates real-world progress, and forecasts risks early, allowing project owners to intervene before delays escalate.
Customers using the platform report improved forecasting accuracy and reduced overruns, along with portfolio-level visibility across multiple concurrent projects. The company says its system can establish baseline schedules in days rather than months and deliver forward-looking insights into execution risk.
The funding will be used to enhance product capabilities, expand engineering and go-to-market teams, and accelerate international growth. Foresight also plans to extend its platform into adjacent sectors where execution challenges are intensifying alongside rising capital investment.
Founded in 2018, Foresight operates globally with offices in New York, London, and Tel Aviv, and is targeting infrastructure segments including hyperscale data centers, power generation, and advanced industrial facilities.
KEY QUOTES:
“The scale of capital now committed to infrastructure is historic, but capital alone doesn’t build anything on time. Foresight replaces fragmented oversight with predictive control, giving owners forward-looking visibility into risk and the ability to intervene before delays materialize. This funding allows us to scale globally and support the next generation of infrastructure delivery.”
Igor Shifrin, Co-Founder And CEO Of Foresight
“Macquarie Capital Venture Capital seeks to partner with high-growth, early-stage software companies that drive innovation within their sectors. We invested in Foresight because of its potential to transform the operating model for how complex projects are delivered. Delivery discipline is crucial in a market where delays directly impact returns, and Foresight provides project owners with the clarity and control to maintain a competitive edge.”
Gary Munitz, Global Co-Head Of Macquarie Capital Venture Capital
“Delays in major projects are not rare events caused by black swans. They are systemic, driven by small, compounding execution failures and predictable human biases in planning and decision-making. My research at Oxford has spent years quantifying this problem. Foresight is the first platform that operationalizes these insights, giving every level of the organization, from C-suite to field, the tools to see risk early and act on it.”
Dr. Atif Ansar, Co-Founder And Executive Chairman Of Foresight
