Fortify Companies has acquired Rytech Restoration, expanding its national restoration platform to more than 30 states. The deal brings together Rytech’s network of 100+ franchise locations across 25 states with Fortify’s company-owned Insurcomm Restoration network, creating a unified platform serving over 100 markets nationwide.
Fortify CEO Kelly Brewer said the acquisition accelerates the company’s mission to deliver consistent, high-quality restoration services on a national scale. Rytech founder Bubba Ryan will retire after three decades building the brand, while COO Randy Kerlin and the existing leadership team will continue leading day-to-day operations.
The combined platform strengthens Fortify’s position as a national leader by merging Rytech’s franchise footprint with Insurcomm’s turnkey restoration, reconstruction, and catastrophe-response expertise. Insurcomm’s large-loss, commercial, and full-scale rebuild capabilities add national depth while preserving Rytech’s local ownership and customer relationships.
Across 30+ states, Fortify will now offer expanded local services and streamlined coordination for complex, multi-location, and high-severity losses—backed by investments in technology, training, and service-line growth.
