Four Pillars, a Seoul-based blockchain research and technology company, has closed a Series A investment led by Pantera Capital, with Further Ventures, backed by Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund ADQ, participating as anchor investor. The round establishes a post-money valuation of approximately KRW 30 billion, equivalent to $20 million, representing validation from two of the most prominent institutional investors in the global digital assets space.

Founded in 2023 by Namwoong Kim, Jaehwan Jung, Heechang Kang, and Jinsol Bok, Four Pillars has built a reputation over three years through more than 600 multilingual research publications and over 100 collaborations connecting Asia with the global blockchain ecosystem. The company is now officially rebranding as a Web3 Solutions Company, marking a strategic shift from a research-focused organization to a full-stack infrastructure and solutions partner.

The transition is structured around three integrated business pillars. The Research unit will continue delivering global-standard technical analysis. The Institution unit provides advisory services and seminars tailored for enterprises and institutional investors. The Validated unit operates institutional-grade validator infrastructure led by veteran engineers with prior experience at leading blockchain organizations, managed within SOC 2 and ISO-certified environments.

Four Pillars has defined three strategic approaches to guide its expansion: bridging Asia and global markets as a trust-based interface, connecting traditional finance and Web3 through specialized collaboration models, and scaling beyond research into tangible infrastructure and product execution. The company sees particular opportunity in areas including KRW-based stablecoins and the tokenization of traditional assets such as real estate, bonds, and funds.
