Four Pillars announced that it has secured a Series A investment led by Pantera Capital, with Further Ventures participating as anchor investor, as the company transitions into a full-stack Web3 solutions provider.

The funding values Four Pillars at approximately KRW 30 billion, or about $20 million post-money, reflecting growing institutional confidence in its role within the global blockchain ecosystem.

Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Seoul, Four Pillars has built its reputation as a research-driven blockchain company, producing more than 600 reports and supporting over 100 collaborations across the industry. With this funding, the company is shifting its strategy beyond research to become a comprehensive infrastructure and solutions partner for Web3.

The company is rebranding as a “Web3 Solutions Company,” focusing on bridging gaps between Asia and global markets, as well as between traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems. Its strategy centers on three pillars: Research, Institution, and Validated. The Research division will continue delivering technical analysis, while the Institution unit provides advisory services to enterprises and institutional investors. The Validated arm focuses on infrastructure, including institutional-grade validator operations.

The move comes as regulatory developments accelerate in areas such as stablecoins and tokenization of traditional assets, creating new opportunities for infrastructure providers that can connect traditional financial systems with blockchain-based technologies.

Four Pillars aims to position itself as a key intermediary enabling institutions to adopt Web3 infrastructure, particularly in Asia, where demand for cross-border collaboration and localized expertise continues to grow.

The funding underscores continued investor interest in Web3 infrastructure companies that can move beyond experimentation to deliver real-world applications and enterprise-grade solutions.

KEY QUOTES:

“This investment represents more than capital; it reflects the data-driven trust we have built in the global market over the past three years. It is especially meaningful to announce this milestone at Episode Gangnam, the symbolic location where our founding team first envisioned the company, as we take a significant step toward becoming a comprehensive Web3 solution partner.”

Namwoong Kim, Chief Executive Officer, Four Pillars

“Four Pillars is a well-balanced team of four co-founders, each bringing deep expertise across research, technology, strategy, and operations. Their multilingual research has already set a benchmark for technical credibility in the global market while helping reduce regional information asymmetry. The infrastructure they are building on top of this foundation has the potential to become a key driver of on-chain ecosystem expansion.”
