Alberto Centeno’s Background

Could you tell me more about your background? Centeno said:
“I’ve been part of the nightlife world since before I could legally drink. At 16, I was biking the streets of Valencia promoting club nights, eventually working my way up to VIP manager. That early exposure gave me a firsthand view of the operational and financial pain points venues face every day.”
“That experience led me to co-found Fourvenues, where we’ve redefined how nightclubs, beach clubs, promoters, and festivals are managed. We built an all-in-one platform that connects pre-sales, reservations, access control, ticketing and bar sales, data analytics, customer loyalty, revenue optimization, and financial management.”
“The early years weren’t easy: we launched during a global pandemic and faced a steep learning curve when it came to finding the right financial backing. But we used that time to rebuild our product, sharpen our vision, and strengthen our pitch.”
“Today, Fourvenues powers some of the biggest names in nightlife, and I remain focused on helping the industry thrive and continue to support innovation.”
Formation Of The Company
How did the idea for the company come together? Centeno shared:
“By being on the ground in the industry for years, I saw firsthand the same problems over and over. Venues were forced to juggle multiple disconnected tools for ticketing, reservations, access control, payments, and more, and I thought there had to be a better way.”
“Fourvenues was built to solve this exact problem. It’s an all-in-one platform that manages the entire operation in one place, giving venues full control of their business and more room to grow without the operational chaos. The fully integrated operating system provides real-time data across revenue, ticket sales, POS, and beyond.”
Favorite Memory
What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Centeno reflected:
“One of the moments I value most was realizing that Fourvenues had stopped being ‘our product’ and had become something the industry genuinely made its own. There’s a very specific feeling when you walk into a venue or a festival, see the team operating with your software, and you’re no longer the outsider or the vendor; you’re just part of how things work. I’ve had that experience many times now, from clubs in Ibiza to large-format events, and it never stops being special.”
“Another key moment has been seeing Fun Business Days grow year after year. What started as a risky idea, bringing the industry together to share knowledge, became a real community. Watching venue owners, promoters, and operators openly exchange ideas, successes, and mistakes confirmed that we were building something bigger than software.”
Core Products
What are the company’s core products and features? Centeno explained:
“Fourvenues is the platform that does it all when it comes to nightlife management and operations. Key features include:

◦ Optimize your fee and rebate structure
◦ Customize white-label technology”
Challenges Faced
Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Centeno acknowledged:
“Consumer behavior has certainly shifted. For example, fewer club nights are running past 3 a.m. in most major cities compared to a decade ago, which reflects broader changes in how people go out and spend their time.”
“That said, these changes have pushed operators to adapt, which is where we come in. By helping venues optimize revenue, understand audiences better, and run more efficiently, Fourvenues has continued to grow steadily. Despite the tougher environment, we saw consistent revenue growth between 2021 and 2025, which really reinforces the importance of having the right tools during these periods of change.”
Evolution Of The Company’s Technology
How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Centeno noted:
“Fourvenues started by solving very concrete operational problems we had lived ourselves: ticketing, guest lists and basic access control. But very quickly, we understood that digitizing one part of the business in isolation wasn’t enough.”
“Over the years, the platform has evolved into a fully integrated operating system. We’ve moved from standalone tools to a unified infrastructure that connects presales, box office, access, VIP reservations, promoter management, payments, bars, and reporting in real time.”
Significant Milestones
What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Centeno cited:
— Surviving and rebuilding during the pandemic – we used that time to rethink the product, refocus on larger clients, and strengthen the B2B model.”
— Transitioning from serving mostly small promoters to working with large venue groups and international brands, managing increasingly complex operations.”
— Achieving sustained growth between 2021 and 2025, with a 38x increase in revenue while maintaining high client retention.”
— Expanding internationally and officially launching in the U.S. with offices in Miami and New York.”
— Growing Fun Business Days from a small industry meetup into an international event with over 3,000 attendees.
Each milestone reinforced the same goal: building long-term infrastructure for the industry.”
Customer Success Stories
Can you share any specific customer success stories? Centeno highlighted:
“From Ibiza to Dubai, Fourvenues has partnered with some of nightlife’s most recognized brands, including 14 venues ranked in the Top 100 worldwide, such as Pacha, Club Chinois, Cova Santa, BCM, FITZ, Shelter, and Zamna.”
“Belen Stopple, coordinator of VIP Reservations at Cova Santa in Ibiza, enjoys using Fourvenues, especially for the interactive map and the ability to manage bookings and sales from a phone. He is also appreciative of the 24/7 Customer Support offering.”
“Santi Salvador, CEO of Bonobo Group, finds that the data Fourvenues provides is incredibly valuable, allowing them to send exclusive promotions and discounts to frequent customers.”
Funding/Revenue
Are you able to discuss funding and/or revenue metrics? Centeno revealed:
“$9.2 million total funding to date. Investors include Base 10, Angels, the investment company of Juan Roig, ZBG, FJ Labs, and angels, including Felipe Navío and Juan Urdiales, founders of Jobandtalent. Fourvenues has achieved 38x revenue growth over the past four years (2021–2025).”
Total Addressable Market (TAM)
What total addressable market (TAM) size is the company pursuing? Centeno assessed:
“We focus on nightlife and live entertainment spaces where the operational complexity truly exists: nightclubs, beach clubs, large venues, promoters, and festivals.”
“Globally, this represents tens of thousands of venues and operators across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. When you factor in ticketing, presales, on-site sales, payments, CRM, data, and operational software, the TAM surpasses $100 billion annually.”
Differentiation From The Competition
What differentiates the company from its competition? Centeno affirmed:
“What truly differentiates us is that Fourvenues was built from inside the industry. We started with real pain points and designed the platform around how venues, promoters, and festivals actually operate.”
Future Company Goals
What are some of the company’s future goals? Centeno emphasized:
“One of our broader goals is to continue expanding globally while staying close to the culture of each market. A great example is our recent launch in the U.S., where we opened new offices in Miami and New York.”
“To celebrate, we’re bringing our flagship event, Fun Business Days, to the U.S. for the first time during Miami Music Week. On March 25, 2026, just before Ultra Music Festival, we’ll host FBD in Miami. In just five years, it’s grown from 300 to over 3,000 attendees, and bringing it to the U.S. is a huge milestone for Fourvenues and the global nightlife community.”
“At the end of the day, our focus is on building better tools, growing the community, and helping the industry keep moving forward.”
Additional Thoughts
Any other topics you would like to discuss? Centeno concluded:
“I think it’s important to talk about ownership and responsibility in nightlife. Technology should not replace people or compete with the industry; it should empower it.”
“At Fourvenues, we don’t believe in taking control away from venues/events. We believe in giving them better tools so they can build stronger brands, healthier businesses, and more sustainable communities. That mindset shapes everything we build, from data privacy to white-label solutions.”
“The future of nightlife will belong to those who understand that experience, data, and operations are deeply connected, and that technology should serve the business, not the other way around.”
