Framewerx Acquires AD Micro Technology To Expand AI-Powered Managed IT Services

Framewerx has acquired AD Micro Technology, expanding its managed IT services capabilities, geographic reach and client support operations. The transaction combines Framewerx’s IT consulting, managed services and AI-powered support capabilities with AD Micro Technology’s experience in networking, cybersecurity, backup, cloud infrastructure and printer management. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia, AD Micro Technology serves businesses across the Greater Vancouver area.

The company provides managed IT support, networking, security, cloud, backup, infrastructure and printer and copier management services.

AD Micro Technology has built its business around long-term client relationships and project-delivery capabilities. Framewerx said the acquisition adds experienced employees and creates opportunities to offer a broader range of services to customers of both organizations.

AD Micro Technology will continue operating under its existing brand during the transition period.

Framewerx plans to fully integrate AD Micro Technology’s employees into its organization by the end of 2026. The integration is expected to increase Framewerx’s total headcount by approximately 30%.

The acquisition supports Framewerx’s strategy of scaling its operations as artificial intelligence changes how companies manage technology, support employees and address cybersecurity risks.

Framewerx recently launched Neuralwerx, an AI-powered IT help desk and security platform.

Neuralwerx is designed to streamline technical support, accelerate ticket resolution and strengthen cybersecurity operations.

By combining Neuralwerx with AD Micro Technology’s hands-on managed services and project-delivery experience, Framewerx plans to offer a more comprehensive IT platform to small and mid-sized businesses.

The combined organization will provide traditional managed IT services alongside AI-assisted support and security capabilities.

Framewerx also sees growing demand for strategic AI governance as businesses adopt more AI tools and incorporate them into daily operations.

The company plans to use its expanded team and capabilities to help clients manage technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud environments and AI-related operational requirements.

Framewerx provides proactive technology support, cloud hosting and enterprise-level IT expertise to small and mid-sized organizations.

The acquisition of AD Micro Technology represents another step in the company’s effort to build a larger and more scalable managed services platform.
