Freshfields: Marin Boney Named As Antitrust Partner In DC

Freshfields announced that Marin Boney has joined the firm as an antitrust partner in Washington, D.C., where she will focus on merger control and antitrust advisory work for private capital clients.

Marin represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Department of Justice (DoJ) in merger reviews of complex cross-border transactions, with a focus on serving private capital clients. And her practice cuts across a wide variety of industries, with particularly strong experience in software and technology, energy, healthcare and consumer products and services transactions.

Marin’s joining of the firm builds on a string of hires in the U.S. over the last year across Freshfields’ antitrust and private capital groups including Christine Wilson, antitrust partner Kevin Yingling, Global Co-Head of Private Capital Neal Reenan, Head of U.S. Private Capital Ian Bushner, Head of New York Private Equity Claire James and Private Capital partner and Boston office managing partner Matt Goulding.
