Frontline Managed Services has acquired KL Software Technologies and affiliate KLoBot and launched Frontline Intelligent Applications, a new business focused on helping law firms use technology, data and artificial intelligence to improve operations.
The transaction combines Frontline’s nearly four decades of experience supporting law firm technology and business operations with KL Software’s capabilities in Microsoft Cloud, software engineering, legal applications and AI.
Frontline Intelligent Applications will combine strategic advisory, professional services, managed services and connected legal applications.
Its strategic advisory capabilities will cover Microsoft ecosystem design, application and platform strategy, document management, AI readiness and technology roadmaps.
Professional services will span Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Azure, iManage, NetDocuments, application modernization, AI and Microsoft Copilot implementation and integration.
Managed Application Services will provide ongoing management and optimization of Microsoft platforms, document management systems and connected legal technology environments.
The connected applications portfolio will incorporate KL Software and KLoBot products including KLapper, Legal101, netDocShare and imDocShare.
Frontline and KL Software had established a strategic partnership earlier in 2026 before agreeing to combine under a single organization.
KL Software founder Ragav Jagannathan will lead the Frontline Intelligent Applications portfolio, overseeing product strategy, engineering and software delivery.
Jagannathan has 25 years of SharePoint experience and has contributed to more than 300 SharePoint implementations for Am Law 100 firms and Fortune 100 legal departments.
KL Software currently provides digital workplace and intelligent application development solutions to more than 30 Am Law firms.
Frontline supports hundreds of law firms and more than 300 legal applications globally.
