FTV Capital, a sector-focused growth equity investment firm, announced the promotion of Adam Hallquist to partner as the firm continues to expand its investment platform and Ascend strategy. The firm also revealed a series of additional promotions across its investment, talent, and technology teams.

Hallquist, who joined FTV in 2014, will lead investments for FTV Ascend, maintaining a focus on vertical software, payments, and financial technology and services. Over more than a decade at the firm, he has built a track record of sourcing, executing and supporting investments in vertical software and financial technology and services, contributing to the expansion of FTV’s franchise in those sectors.

He currently serves on the boards of ConnexPay, Docupace, JustPark and ProfitSolv, and is a board observer at LoanPro. Hallquist was also involved in several exited investments, including Finaro, Riskalyze, Sunlight Financial, True Potential, VPay and Xplor.

Before joining FTV, Hallquist worked as an investment banking analyst at Financial Technology Partners. He earned a B.B.A. in finance with a second major in economics from Emory University.

In his new role, Hallquist will help scale FTV’s Ascend strategy, which targets smaller growth equity investments within the firm’s core sectors and offers flexibility to pursue both control and minority positions. The inaugural FTV Ascend I fund launched with $651 million in capital commitments as part of the firm’s record $4.05 billion fundraise announced in January 2025. The fund has completed three investments to date: 360 Privacy, Saphyre and Validus.

FTV also promoted several members of its investment team. Sam Kider was elevated to senior vice president focused on financial technology and services. Lisa Latrèche and Payam Vadi were both promoted to senior vice president within vertical software. Brandon Nestor advanced to vice president in vertical software. Brian Papsin and Adrian Radzyminski were promoted to vice president roles in enterprise technology and services.

On the talent and technology side, Padget Luetgerath was promoted to senior vice president, supporting internal talent initiatives and portfolio value creation as part of FTV Propel®. Rashid Sultan advanced to vice president of information technology and security. Casey Greenbaum was promoted to senior associate of technology and ProSourcer® software development, and Shannon Hanney was named associate of talent operations.

Founded in 1998, FTV Capital has raised more than $10.2 billion to invest in high-growth companies across financial technology and services, vertical software, enterprise technology and services, and healthcare technology and services. The firm has invested in more than 150 portfolio companies and continues to deploy capital through its thematic and sector-focused growth equity approach.
