Fullmind announced it has acquired Elevate K-12 in a deal that combines two virtual learning providers to create, the companies say, the largest dedicated virtual education partner serving K-12 school districts in the United States.
The combined organization will support more than 225 school districts nationwide, delivering live online instruction led by state-certified teachers while expanding academic support services available to partner schools. The companies said the merger brings together complementary capabilities designed to help districts address teacher shortages and provide flexible instruction options.
Fullmind CEO Ysiad Ferreiras will lead the combined company. Elevate K-12 CEO Piyush Lumba will assist during the integration process as the two organizations complete their merger over the next 90 days.
Through the transaction, school districts working with Elevate K-12 will gain access to Fullmind’s services, including homebound instruction, individualized education program support, special education services, summer programming, and teacher sharing across schools. Districts currently working with Fullmind will gain access to Elevate K-12’s teacher network, on-site program managers, and embedded customer support capabilities.
The companies said the merger is intended to expand their teacher network and improve operational scale across the combined platform. For educators, the larger district base is expected to create additional teaching assignments across subjects, increase scheduling flexibility, and reduce gaps between contracts.
Fullmind provides live online instruction and educator services to school districts through a proprietary technology platform. Elevate K-12 delivers live virtual classes across core and elective subjects while providing program management and support services to partner districts.
The combined company aims to strengthen long-term service stability for school districts while expanding access to virtual instruction resources and specialized teaching support.
