Galaxy Service Partners, a commercial door, automatic gate, and access control platform focused on maintenance, service, and installation, announced the completion of its partnership with Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical LLC, a commercial dock and door service company based in Denver, Colorado, with an additional location in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Sylvester’s has served the Greater Denver and Greater Chesapeake areas for more than 17 years. The transaction marks Galaxy’s eighth acquisition since launching in 2025 and its second acquisition in 2026.
Galaxy said the partnership aligns with its strategy of investing in companies with strong management teams and cultures, while enabling founders to retain unit-level ownership and participate in future growth. The firm maintains existing employees and leadership teams and provides operational resources and processes to support continued expansion.
Founded in 2009 by James Sylvester, Sylvester’s Maintenance & Mechanical specializes in commercial dock and door services across its two markets. Through the partnership, Sylvester’s plans to expand its geographic reach, broaden its capabilities, and continue investing in its workforce while maintaining its service standards.
