Galloway & Company, a national architecture and engineering firm based in Denver, announced it has completed the acquisition of Anderson Wahlen & Associates, a Salt Lake City-based land development consulting and services firm, effective July 1, 2026. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AWA provides land development consulting and professional services for commercial, residential, mixed-use, industrial, and other projects, with capabilities spanning civil engineering, land surveying, land planning and entitlements, development consulting, landscape architecture, and construction support. The firm traces its roots to 1958, serves clients across the western United States, and has been named Utah’s Best of State winner for civil engineering for two consecutive years.
The acquisition supports Galloway’s long-term growth strategy in partnership with ARA Services Partners and Kelso & Company. Galloway, founded in Denver in 1982, has grown to 450 professionals across 18 offices in 10 states and ranks 288 on the Engineering News-Record Top 500 list, having climbed 102 positions over the past five years. The firm is licensed in all 50 states and offers 14 in-house architecture and engineering disciplines.
