Gamma announced that it has raised $68 million in Series B funding at a valuation of $2.1 billion. Andreessen Horowitz led the round with participation from Accel, Uncork Capital, and other existing investors. The company also revealed that it has surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue. This financing includes a secondary component to provide liquidity to early employees, reflecting the founders’ intent to share the company’s success with the team members who helped build it.
Gamma’s approach to scaling has contrasted with that of many enterprise AI companies, which have raised significant capital before proving market demand. Gamma has been profitable for over two years and has achieved its revenue milestone, having initially raised only $23 million. The company’s team remains lean with approximately 50 employees supporting a global customer base of 70 million users. To date, more than 400 million presentations, websites, and visual documents have been created on Gamma, and users generate over 1 million pieces of content every day on the platform.
Gamma was initially built to serve as an AI-first alternative to PowerPoint, and has since evolved into a broader visual storytelling platform. Its newest release, Gamma 3.0, features an AI design agent capable of converting rough notes, documents, or external links into visually polished presentations within minutes. Gamma’s platform is used by teams, educators, and enterprise customers to streamline communication workflows and improve the speed and quality of content creation.
The new capital will be used to accelerate product development and expand the company’s team in response to growing demand from organizations seeking faster and more visually impactful ways to communicate.
Gamma continues to position itself as a core tool for business storytelling, offering a design-native environment that removes the need for manual formatting or specialized creative skills.
