GE Aerospace Appoints Microsoft Executive Judson Althoff To Board Of Directors

GE Aerospace announced that Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft’s Commercial Business, has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors.

Althoff will officially join the board on June 24, 2026. He currently serves as CEO of Microsoft’s Commercial Business, where he oversees product strategy, sales, service, support, marketing, and operations. His responsibilities include driving growth and strengthening Microsoft’s position as a partner for AI transformation initiatives.

Prior to his current role, Althoff spent nearly a decade helping shape Microsoft’s commercial strategy. He joined the company in March 2013 as President of Microsoft North America after holding senior sales positions at Oracle and EMC.

Althoff is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology and also serves as an independent director on the board of Ecolab, where he is a member of the Safety, Health & Environment Committee and the Finance Committee.

GE Aerospace is a global aerospace propulsion, services, and systems company with an installed base of approximately 50,000 commercial aircraft engines and 30,000 military aircraft engines. The company employs approximately 57,000 people worldwide and traces its history back more than a century.
