GE Vernova Acquires Robotech Automation To Accelerate Robotics And Automation Capabilities

GE Vernova announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Robotech Automation, a robotics and automation systems integrator based near Montreal, in a move designed to accelerate the company’s robotics and automation capabilities.

Robotech employs approximately 35 people and specializes in customized automation solutions through in-house engineering, design, and integration capabilities supported by manufacturing partners. The acquisition is expected to strengthen ongoing robotics and automation initiatives within GE Vernova’s Advanced Research Center (ARC), particularly across the company’s supply chain operations.

The companies are already collaborating on supply chain projects at GE Vernova manufacturing facilities in Schenectady, New York, and Charleroi, Pennsylvania. GE Vernova said the acquisition will help improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes across its operations while also supporting the company’s broader capital allocation strategy focused on targeted strategic acquisitions.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the early third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
