Gen Phoenix, a leader in sustainable recycled leather fiber materials, has announced an expanded partnership with Tapestry, Inc., the parent company of Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. This partnership includes a three-year supply agreement and a substantial increase in investment from Tapestry, raising its equity stake in Gen Phoenix to 9.9%.

Since their collaboration began in 2022, they have moved beyond a typical vendor relationship to create a model for sustainable solutions. By sharing resources and design insights, they have developed materials that maintain the quality of traditional leather while enhancing durability through circular transformation.

Luxury brands are increasingly adopting Gen Phoenix’s “luxcycling” approach, which uses innovative materials to extend the lifespan of fashion and accessories while preserving quality. This partnership highlights their leadership in circular leather innovation and contributes to the industry’s shift toward sustainable luxury materials.
