Genesis Wealth Recruits Two Advisors With $650 Million In Prior Client Assets

Genesis Wealth, a wealth management platform and non-OSJ branch office within LPL Financial, announced it has added two senior financial advisors from JPMorgan Chase who previously managed a combined $650 million in client assets, as the firm continues to target experienced bank-based advisors transitioning to an independent model.

The firm said the additions include Todd Brase, based in Schaumburg, Illinois, and Dray Henderson, based in Downers Grove, Illinois. Genesis Wealth said both recruits bring more than two decades of experience advising high-net-worth clients. Brase has 24 years in the industry, including 22 years at JPMorgan Chase, and previously serviced about $350 million in client assets under management, according to the announcement. Henderson has 25 years of industry experience, holds the Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP®) designation, and previously oversaw $301 million in client assets.

Genesis Wealth said it is positioning itself as a “supported independence” destination for senior advisors leaving traditional bank models, offering turnkey infrastructure that can include staffing support, office space in the Chicagoland area, technology, and coverage of LPL affiliation fees. The firm said the model is intended to reduce operational burdens and allow advisors to focus on client service and practice growth.

Brase said Genesis Wealth’s support for advanced planning, including estate planning and portfolio construction, was a key factor in his decision to join the platform. Henderson said the move will allow him to provide more personalized and independent advice while strengthening long-term client relationships.

Founded in January 2024, Genesis Wealth said it launched under its current brand in July 2025 and currently manages $2.5 billion in client assets.
