Gentoo Media announced the appointment of Måns Svalborn as Chief Financial Officer. Svalborn is expected to join the company in early October 2026.
Svalborn brings more than 20 years of financial leadership experience to Gentoo Media. He previously served for more than six years as Group CFO of Raketech Group Holding, a Nasdaq First North-listed iGaming affiliate company.
During his time at Raketech, Svalborn was responsible for finance, legal and compliance, investor relations, and operations. He also played a central role in financial strategy, financing, capital markets activities, corporate governance, and cross-border acquisitions.
Before entering the iGaming industry, Svalborn built his career across banking and audit. He held senior finance leadership roles at Nordea Bank and previously worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
Svalborn holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Uppsala University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Strategy, and Management from Lund University.
Gentoo Media said the appointment strengthens its executive management team as the company continues executing its long-term growth strategy. The company is focused on expanding its position as a leading global affiliate business in the online gambling and sports betting industry.
Gentoo Media connects operators and players through iGaming affiliate solutions, including paid marketing expertise and traffic from industry sites such as AskGamblers, Time2Play, CasinoTopsOnline, WSN, and Casinomeister.
The company was formerly known as GiG Media. In 2024, Gentoo Media became Gentoo Media Inc. following a legal split that separated the Media business from the Platform and Sportsbook business within Gaming Innovation Group into two independently listed companies.
Gentoo Media is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker G2M.
