Geoforce Acquires AssetLink Global To Expand Rugged Asset Tracking And Defense Grade Remote Monitoring

By Amit Chowdhry • Jan 30, 2026

Geoforce, a provider of rugged and intrinsically safe asset intelligence solutions, has acquired AssetLink Global, a specialist in satellite-enabled remote monitoring systems and next-generation IoT services, with a strong footprint in military and defense, rail, cold chain, tank-level monitoring, and maritime vessel applications. The companies said the combination broadens Geoforce’s technical capabilities and industry coverage, with particular emphasis on secure satellite communications, intelligent sensor integration, and deployments in hazardous and remote environments.

Geoforce’s platform pairs a cloud-based SaaS fleet management system with ruggedized GPS tracking devices used by field operators across oil and gas, transportation and logistics, equipment rental, rail, construction, mining, government and defense, and agriculture. The company says it serves more than 2,000 customers that track over 300,000 assets in more than 100 countries. AssetLink Global provides deeper satellite-enabled visibility and condition-based monitoring, including sensor integrations that support use cases such as logistics tracking, military logistics, unattended sensor monitoring, offshore vessel supply operations, and tank level monitoring.

The companies said AssetLink Global has been an early pioneer in the secure, affordable use of global satellite networks for asset visibility and offers advanced sensor integration capabilities, including door-open and door-closed, pressure, temperature, load, fluid-level, and other condition-based sensors. They added that these capabilities, combined with edge intelligence, are expected to complement Geoforce’s asset-first software platform and expand the combined offering for defense and other field-centric industries.

Leadership continuity is expected, with AssetLink Global continuing to be led by CEO David Goldstein and operating within the Geoforce organization. The companies said existing customers should benefit from expanded technical resources, enhanced capabilities, and a unified commitment to service and reliability.
