Significant Milestones
What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? McMahon cited:
“One of our biggest milestones was the launch of our S510 – the first-ever fully rugged AI-ready laptop. This milestone further cemented us as a company at the forefront of innovation technology in the rugged space. In addition, we have become the first ever rugged device company to be certified on the T-Mobile network but also introducing the first-ever fully rugged AI-ready laptop to the market. These advancements empower our customers with cutting-edge technology, enabling them to work more efficiently and effectively in the most demanding environments.”
“Getac is focused on forging strong partnerships to provide our customers with a full package of software and hardware to meet their specific needs. For example, for law enforcement professionals, there was a clear demand for enhancing situational awareness and resource restraints amongst law enforcement agents. This demand led to a partnership with Flock Safety, a leading public safety technology company, to deliver comprehensive public safety solutions by integrating Getac’s rugged video devices and Flock Safety’s advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) platform and Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) software, FlockOS to provide actionable intelligence, helping law enforcement agencies make informed decisions and respond effectively to incidents.”
“Understanding the need to simplify business mobility in industries like public safety, defense, military, manufacturing, field service, warehouse operations, and automotive, we integrated the SOTI ONE Platform. From remote device management to enhanced security, this solution will streamline business operations, improve connectivity, and ensure maximum uptime even in the most demanding environments.”
Customer Success Stories
When asking McMahon about customer success stories, he highlighted:
“One example I would like to point to is the work we did with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the primary law enforcement agency for the unincorporated areas of Wake County, North Carolina. Our main objective was to develop and deploy an easy-to-use body worn camera solution that complemented the existing technological framework. We deployed our Getac BC-03 body-worn cameras for their ability to effortlessly integrate with the preexisting in-car video systems and the overall backend infrastructure.”
“This resulted in significant improvements in the time it takes to investigate an event, whether a small infraction, a lawsuit that goes to court, or an internal affairs incident. With fewer resources needed, costs are also reduced.”
