GHO Capital has appointed Vivid Sehgal as Operating Partner, adding more than 30 years of operational and financial leadership experience across healthcare and life sciences to the European healthcare investment firm’s operating team.
Sehgal will work directly with GHO’s investment and operating teams and portfolio companies, focusing on scaling businesses, transformation and value creation.
His appointment will also broaden GHO’s network of healthcare executives, operators and advisors.
Sehgal most recently served as an Operating Advisor within the Goldman Sachs Value Accelerator.
He currently serves as Non-Executive Audit Chair and Advisor to Nexpring Health and sits on the Board of OPEN Health, where he previously served as Interim Group CEO from 2024 to 2025.
He is also a member of the Shareholder Advisory Committee of Amedes Group.
Previously, Sehgal served as CFO of life sciences tools company LGC from 2022 to 2024.
Earlier, he was a founding member of LivaNova, which was created through the merger of Sorin and Cyberonics and subsequently listed on Nasdaq. Sehgal served as LivaNova CFO from 2015 through 2017.
His earlier career included senior financial and commercial roles at GlaxoSmithKline, Gillette and Allergan, including during Allergan’s $66 billion sale.
The appointment comes as GHO prepares for its previously announced combination with CBC Group.
Once completed, the transaction is expected to create what the firms describe as the world’s largest dedicated healthcare investment manager, with more than $21 billion in AUM, 13 offices and over 200 investment and operating professionals across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The combination is expected to close in early 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
