Gibson Dunn announced that Margaux J. Hall has joined the firm as a partner in its FDA and Health Care and Life Sciences Practice Groups in Washington, D.C.
Hall advises pharmaceutical manufacturers, investors, and other entities in the supply chain on drug pricing, market access, and value-based arrangements.
Her practice focuses on legal and policy changes affecting pricing, reimbursement, coverage, and access to drugs, vaccines, and devices. She also provides health regulatory counsel on mergers and other transactions, government enforcement matters, and litigation.
Gibson Dunn said Hall’s arrival strengthens its FDA and health care platform as pricing and reimbursement issues increasingly influence transactions, commercialization strategies, and investment decisions across the life sciences industry.
The firm also noted that the regulatory and enforcement landscape around drug pricing has become more aggressive, with federal and state authorities increasing scrutiny of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
Before joining Gibson Dunn, Hall was a partner at an international law firm. She has also pursued a Fulbright Program fellowship focused on health care law and health system reform in South Africa and led similar research programs at the World Bank Group.
Gibson Dunn’s FDA and Health Care Practice Group advises clients on legal issues involving regulated products and health care services. The group includes more than 80 lawyers across 12 offices worldwide.
