Gibson Dunn announced that it will further strengthen its Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group and expand its European presence with the appointment of Leo Plank as a partner in the coming months.
Plank brings more than two decades of experience advising on complex cross-border financial restructurings and insolvency matters. His work has spanned Germany and international markets, including multibillion-dollar restructurings such as Agrokor d.d. in Croatia and HETA Asset Resolution AG in Austria, as well as many of the largest leveraged buyout restructurings in Germany.
The firm said the addition builds on recent growth in its restructuring capabilities across the U.S. and Europe, as demand rises for large European-based mandates. Plank’s arrival follows a series of recent partner additions to the global restructuring team, including Lisa Stevens in 2024 and Chris Howard and Presley Warner in 2025.
