Gillson Sciences has partnered with SanAir Technologies Laboratory, adding accredited environmental testing and consulting capabilities to its analytical services platform as it broadens its focus from life sciences into a more integrated view of human health. The move reflects Gillson’s view that environmental conditions—such as air and water quality and broader community safety factors—can meaningfully influence long-term health outcomes, and that earlier identification of environmental risk can help strengthen prevention efforts.
SanAir, an environmental testing laboratory with decades of experience, provides services across multiple verticals domestically and internationally. Its capabilities include air testing—covering VOCs, soil vapor intrusion, and programs connected to building certification systems such as LEED and WELL—as well as biogas and industrial hygiene testing. The lab also offers asbestos testing, environmental microbiology, bacterial testing, lead and metal analysis, materials science services, and Legionella testing, among other environmental hazard categories.
During the integration period, SanAir will continue operating under its current name, a structure intended to preserve continuity for existing clients while giving the business access to Gillson Sciences’ resources and broader reach. Sean McGlynn, President of SanAir, said joining Gillson will help the company expand its impact and offerings while continuing to deliver specialized expertise to its client base.
Gillson said the combined organization now supports customers across health and life sciences, nutritional science, and environmental science, aligning those services under a shared mission to protect and advance human health.
