Glimpse: $35 Million Raised For AI Platform Powering CPG And Retail Operations

Glimpse, an AI platform focused on automating operations for consumer packaged goods and retail brands, announced that it has raised $35 million in Series A funding, bringing its total capital raised to $52 million.

The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with continued participation from 8VC and Y Combinator. The company said the new funding will be used to scale its platform as it builds what it describes as an AI-native system of action for consumer brands.

Glimpse targets inefficiencies in the CPG and retail sectors, where brands often manage fragmented, unstructured data across multiple retailer portals and legacy systems. These inefficiencies lead to time-consuming manual workflows such as reconciling deductions, disputing fees, and applying cash, tasks that directly impact margins but provide limited strategic value.

The company uses AI to centralize retailer data alongside internal enterprise systems such as ERP platforms, enabling automation of core financial workflows, including deductions, revenue recovery, and cash application. This foundation supports a broader push to embed intelligence into the financial and operational systems of modern consumer brands.

According to the company, more than $100 billion is spent annually on back-office labor across the industry, with limited productivity gains from traditional software. Glimpse aims to address this gap by automating processes end-to-end, helping brands recover lost revenue and improve operational efficiency.

Since launching less than two years ago, the company reports 14x year-over-year growth and says it now supports more than 200 brands and retail partners, including PLTFRM, PRESENCE, Suave, Chapstick, Lemon Perfect, IQBar, and Brami.

Glimpse said its platform can deliver measurable outcomes, including a 91% dispute win rate, removal of up to 80% of manual labor hours, and the ability for brands to dispute significantly higher volumes of deductions. In one example, the company said its system reviewed 17,000 deductions for a $1 billion CPG company in under 24 hours, work that would otherwise take nearly two years manually.

KEY QUOTES:

“Our mission is to bring consumer brands into the world of AI. CPG and retail is the backbone of commerce yet it is still extremely hard to scale a brand. We believe brands shouldn’t have to scale headcount just to manage complexity or accept margin leakage as the cost of doing business. Glimpse puts millions of dollars back into a brand’s pocket and gives them the foundation to grow with stronger margins and smarter operations.”

Akash Raju, CEO And Founder, Glimpse

“Like most major CPG brands, Evermark had to input a dollar threshold for the deductions it was able to review, because there was simply not enough time or manpower to review every last one. By automating the review reconciliation process with Glimpse’s AI, we’ve not only removed that threshold, but we’ve unlocked a new source of incoming cash flow that will bring in millions of dollars that were previously considered a “write off” or cost of doing business. We’re excited to partner with Glimpse to continue streamlining our manual processes and utilize AI to improve our bottom line,”

Sean Quinn, Senior Director Of FP&A, Evermark

“For decades, retail back-office operations have run on spreadsheets and fragmented workflows. What stood out to us were the customer references, Glimpse is delivering clear, measurable ROI. By embedding AI directly into core financial & operational workflows, they’re expanding this market from incremental tools to essential infrastructure for modern brands.”
