GLJ Ltd., a global energy consulting firm, announced the completion of its acquisition of Petrel Robertson Consulting Ltd. (PRCL), a Canadian geoscience and engineering consulting firm with more than five decades of industry experience.
The acquisition strengthens GLJ’s position in geoscience, engineering, and energy consulting by combining PRCL’s internationally recognized subsurface expertise with GLJ’s multidisciplinary technical capabilities. The combined organization is expected to provide clients with deeper technical insight, expanded studies capabilities, and broader access to specialized engineering and geoscience expertise across Canadian and international markets.
As part of the transaction, PRCL leaders Brad Hayes and Kathleen Dorey have joined GLJ as Senior Geoscience Advisors. Their addition is expected to further enhance GLJ’s geoscience offerings and technical leadership.
