Gloo announced a definitive agreement to acquire the remaining 20% stake in Midwestern Interactive, bringing its ownership of the technology talent and engineering firm to 100%.
The acquisition expands Gloo’s enterprise IT capabilities and supports its ambitions to serve the global faith and flourishing ecosystem through applied AI and forward-deployed engineering. The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of 2026.
Gloo initially invested in Midwestern and has collaborated closely with the company for years. Midwestern provides technology talent and development services tailored to organizations in the faith and nonprofit sectors, offering project teams, embedded specialists, and recruitment services to help clients build and scale technology initiatives.
According to Gloo, Midwestern delivers Fortune 500-level technical expertise and helps organizations deploy next-generation technologies, including agentic AI solutions. The company also plans to launch an AI-enabled global talent platform that could help expand Gloo’s international reach through cost-effective talent capabilities.
Following the transaction, Midwestern will continue operating under its own brand and leadership as a wholly owned subsidiary of Gloo Holdings.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, Gloo provides technology, AI, marketing, and donor solutions to more than 140,000 faith, ministry, and nonprofit leaders. The company is publicly traded on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GLOO.
