Gloo: Acquisition Of Workday Services Partner EMD Expands AI-Driven Enterprise Capabilities

By Amit Chowdhry ● Apr 17, 2026

Gloo announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Enterprisemarketdesk, an established Workday services partner focused on nonprofit, small, and mid-market organizations. The deal is designed to expand Gloo’s enterprise technology capabilities and strengthen its Gloo 360 offering as a comprehensive IT infrastructure management service for the faith and flourishing ecosystem.

Through the acquisition, Gloo will integrate EMD’s consulting, implementation, and support services into its platform, adding AI-enabled Workday expertise to its portfolio. The move enhances Gloo’s ability to support mission-driven organizations with modern enterprise systems while creating additional cross-sell opportunities across its customer base.

EMD provides a full suite of Workday-related services, including deployments, application management, and staff augmentation. The company serves both direct clients and systems integrator partners, with a significant portion of its work tied to faith-aligned organizations. The overlap in customer base and technology usage creates a natural alignment between the two companies.

Workday is already widely used among Gloo’s customers, and many engagements extend beyond initial deployments into broader modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Gloo 360 is positioned to provide ongoing support in these areas, leveraging applied AI and engineering resources to improve efficiency and outcomes.

The acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter.

KEY QUOTES

“Workday is widely used across the ecosystem and by many Gloo customers. Our acquisition of EMD brings AI-enabled Workday implementation, operations and support into Gloo’s suite of services, deepening our pipeline and unlocking meaningful cross-sell opportunities with Gloo 360,”

“This is a great example of how we are establishing Gloo as the partner of choice for mission-aligned organizations. We take over the work of managing and modernizing their technology through applied AI and forward deployed engineering, creating better outcomes at lower costs for our customers along with sustained value for our shareholders.”

Scott Beck, CEO, Gloo

“We built EMD around the idea that this part of the Workday market needed a different model — one focused on predictable delivery, the right team, and long-term partnership,”

“Becoming part of Gloo allows us to scale that model while giving our customers access to a broader platform and continued investment in AI-enabled capabilities.”

Alan Corbeil, Managing Partner, Enterprisemarketdesk (EMD)
